Had OJT at Jamiyah today so twas another long trip down to Guillemard Road. It was quite a disheartening session this time cos almost every case was a divorce with the women coming for advice. Very sad to hear about some of them, the worst being this woman from Batam that married a chinese man who left her almost nothing but a quarter share of the house (and even that by operation of law, not his intention). The poor woman kept breaking down and sobbing. *sigh* But it's quite an experience to listen in. Always appreciate learning practical new things like that.

Anyways on the bright side we were near Old Airport Road food centre, LH & me hot-footed down there for some scrumtuous food. TOP of my list was obviously the rojak I sooo die for - done by this old elderly couple. They're so good they have one of those beeping polyclinic style queue number machines. It that popular. Go during mealtimes & wait no less than an hour, if not two...And my two previous visits ended empty cos they'd closed. But luckily this time I got the second last order!

Ordered a $5 plate between 2 of us. It's orgasmic I swear. *happy sigh*
Had carrot cake and hokkien mee too. Not too good really but oh well. And ordered satay too. That and the brilliant rojak, washed down with refreshing sugar cane with lemon. niice...
*burp*
