Met one of my kakis today to swop my bday pressie wallet for a design I preferred and we had lunch together before he accompanied me on an errand.

A question about whether he & his wife were trying for a kid triggered a wide-ranging talk about anything and everything about our families, finances, loves lives, hopes and fears. We had been friends from PSLE days but had never been the closest ones in the group. Plus all that sharing and emoting was never part of the teenage nor young male psyche. Needless to say, I learnt quite few new things about him which is surprising considering the time we've been friends. Thinking back tho, I realise we always just hung out in the group and such conversation only ensue one-on-one. Lots of observations were made and it IS amazing how all of us in the group have grown over the nearly 2 decades.

Dropped him off on the way back to the office. As I drove away, I had a warm fuzzy feeling :)
