I emerged from the haze of rushing crim case managment, crim pro tutorial & civil draft letter to realise it was almost 5 and half an hour from deadline time. Bolted out the door after a quick shower & ran to the opposite bus side. 174 came & I boarded. When I Should have gone for a cab.

Bad mistake made worse by alighting at Orchard MRT with 10 minutes to spare. Ran to boulevard to catch a cab. None in sight.

Then it happened. A few drops. Then BANG. Started pouring like no tomorrow.

Thankfully the canopy saved me from getting soacked thru. Waited under a bridge at Paterson wet & worried cos the watch read 5:21.

The brigade of cabs passing by with red 'Busy' & 'Hired' didn't help. Plus as luck would have it when u're down, it's change shift time so I could hardly get a ride.

Till this uncle on his way back to bugis agreed to take me to sub courts.

Clambered in relieved to get a cab but still had to get there. tick tock tick tock.

Sprinted out from havelock road itself instead of letting the cab turn in the usual way for fear it get held up by traffic. Thru security & as I expected the slow lift took ages to come.

Walked into the office at 5:39.

But finally a lucky break. Accepted without problems.

*phew*

Trudged to realise I was quite wet & flushed. Sat thru Crim tut then another class with my beloved FMS mentor. Done at 9.

I hate PLC.
