Went to watch the graduating class production today. It's my juniors a year younger who formed the bulk of my comm when I chaired orientation. So I was duty bound to go watch them.
I sure glad I went in the end, cos it was brilliant. Really a great show with good singing and witty dialouge and the most amazing thing was they actually pulled at the heartstrings with their sad scenes. Subtle and believable when needed. Then the next scene is mad parody of japanese pop commercial. Hilarious. Talented bunch they are.
Watching them, I felt.. nostalgic. Thinking about all those months of work during focc. The long hours, the headaches, the grime... And I missed doing all that with this bunch. Truly a special group they have.
There was this giant display which was a wall of remembrance sort of thing.. Had pics throughout their time in law school from law ball to moot competitions to orientation. And there were a fair bit of the last one which had me feeling that I belonged. Something I didnt have with my law iv due to all the policticking. There was one photo that had all of us in our orientation garb outside the moot court. Just an ensemble picture of a group of pple doing something together and became friends through it.
I couldn't help but smile.
