Saturday turned out to be quite an eventful day. I had some good nasi padang with my mum at the lauded Zion Rd stall (tho i prefer the one at circular road mum wanted to try this one). Then we went grocery shopping at cold storage in great world city.

I dunno if I mentioned this but I love grocery shopping. Prob the only shopping i truly adore. Hahaha. Nothing beats stocking up on your favourite food, snacks and drinks. Not to mention getting all the fresh stuff so I can cook up a storm for someone special or more ;) *lol* Been a long while since we got around to this so I had a ball racking up all the food and stuff. Cabbed back and did the usual storage routine that I've made a science; then twas down to some work at last.

Surprising productive day as I got through everything I wanted to cover. It did help cos I just aced family last sem so everything was fresh in my mind.. Not to mention my very well-tabbed notes (very proud of them... colour-coordinated too!) It was just as well cos I had to get to Gallery Hotel to help some frens out with a performance for this salsa showcase nite by this dance studio.

However, the performance my frens were doing was a showcase for exotic dance. So let's just say it involved me getting a lap dance from three very scantily clad ladies. Truth be told it looks really raunchy and twas hilarious when we were rehearsing in the hotel room they provided for the performers.. Cos we had the room to ourselves awhile and when the salsa performers came in the door, they totally did a double take seeing three women in lingerie doing the do on one guy and the 1st salsa gal went "Oh sorry! are we in the wrong room?". Totally burst out laughing when we realised how it must've looked like to them.

Anyways everyone kept harping on how lucky I was. And the thing is I'm sure many guys would've died to be in my position... Esp this guy in the audience who was next to me in the crowd during the show. Got such a shocked and at the same time disappointed look on his face when my fren pulled me out (twas supposed to look like i was randomly picked from the audience) to get the lap dance. His face was like damn sad la "Why not me? Why?" *LOL*
Anyways as I was saying I realised (you when u have one of those epiphanies) walkin off after the show that I'm definitely a two ladder guy. My mind just blocks off the improper thots with frens, esp in a 'professional' setting (well sorta la. performance right?) like this. This was as close a test as one can decently get and boy was I cold. Hahah. Cos I seriously wasn't turned on by the dance at all. Which could be worrying on one hand.. But then again I pretty damned sure I'm straight. hahah.

Well twas off to zouk after that with G, whom I've grown quite fond of. And though I didn't intend to go in, G's prodding and my curiosity from not having seen zouk post-renovation got the better of me. In the end, I'm so happy I did cos I had a blast (tho guiltily considering exam's a day away!) in phuture. The music was awesome and the crowd (tho a tad too cowded) was rockin. So had a blast with DJ Ratlle rolling off the hits.

So that was my activity-filled saturday. Thankfully got down to the studying today but the crunch will be tom after my first paper cos i have to panic mug for wed's crim paper.

*groan*
