Ms TT shares...

This has been the most celebrated birthday in my life!

Twas just looking forward to spending it in your lovely company.. but you gave me so much more than what i’ve ever dared dreamed.. than i’ve ever thought i’ve wanted for a birthday.

15th June 2006.
Thank you for loving me so much.. and for making such an effort to plan the pre-birthday celebration dinner with Ms Ang (who got me a really beautiful necklace!) and Ms Legare (who got me a lovely delicate shawl!) also not forgetting the big bouquet of flowers also from Ms Kelly! Thanks also for collaborating with Ms Ang and inviting the feeties salsa gang.. the friday nite gang and other salsa friends to the birthday bash at Hard Rock!

That alone was enough for me. i was delighted with the surprise and was just looking forward to spending the friday evening having a quiet dinner with you. but ohh so much more awaited me!

16th June 2006.
Uno.. was when you called and got me to read a card in my wallet.. which says that a personal car and chauffeur awaits me in front of my office building! (boy was i surprised and a lil tense then)

Dos.. treated like a lady the chauffer opens the door for me and there was a bunch of 3 roses & another card tat got me to a spa facial and massage session.

Tres.. came down from the session where another bunch of 3 roses was on the seat with another card.

Cuatro.. my personal chauffeur brought me to the Fullerton Hotel where Poonam (the Guest Recognition Manager) received me with yet another set of 3 roses. She brought me up to a breathtaking suite and left me there.

Cinco.. there on the gigantic bed lay another bunch of roses with a note gettin me to open the wardrobe.

Seis! more roses! and a silver gown! oh so lovely!! (my jaw dropped) twas the one that i fell in love with when i tried on at Celia Loe! Quickly i changed into the gown.. Poonam came by again (with more roses) and escorted me to dinner (received some more roses from the waiter).

Siete.. my prince charming finally arrivied! looking all smart in his suit and flashing me the smile i've grown so fond of! you came with 3 more roses.. by then which added up to 27 stalks of roses for my 27th birthday. *hugs*

The evenin was surreal. haha you pinched me just as i've asked u to.. no i wasn't dreamin! you are standin there right in front of me.. looking all so dashing. :D

Just like how i felt on our first date.. it was so movie-like! so romantic! i was very touched by your humongous effort in planning for my birthday. where can we find a man like that in life?? yet i have one.. and he is my man. thank you for choosing MrsTan, my Cleo Bachelor......

We had dinner and went upstairs where more surprises awaited me!

Simba (we named him tat before we slept that nite)..... a cute lion that i totally missed out in my excitement in finding the gown! adorable eyes and messy mane. *grinz*

A beautiful self-made glass painting of my name. MrTan stained the frame himself.. and you should see the masterpiece! all in my favourte bright colours.. red.. orange.. yellow. all so cheery.... :)

Not forgetting a night of movie and snacks! we watched Prime!



17th June 2006.
Saturday.. the day after.... we went out with ur mum for dinner a sumptuous meal at Straits Kitchen (yummy!) and then you brought your ladies to for the movie RV at Cathay.. *beam*

18th June 2006.
We even met up with Pamela & Jeanette (my elementry & high school best friends) and played scrabble at Happy Daze on Sunday....

Sighs.. what a lovely weekend all nicely planned out... just for me.........!

I’ve always been in control of my life and my happiness.. and i’ve been doin that for the past 20-odd years.. knowin how my birthday week would go cuz no one has ever been there to say “you are booked for the nite and you are goin to have a special birthday with me.”

This year was definitely a time I learned to trust and believe.. to trust that you know what I desired.. and to believe in you. My dearie.. you far exceedingly gave me what I need and want (to be with you and salsa the nite away with friends).......

Thank you darling.. for everything. I’ve said this to you.. and I’ll say it again.
you are special.. truly! even without all these done and given to me.

I love you deeply deep!
