Tumultuous times this past month has been. It's been quite a ride for emotions. In the end, hopefully all will sail smoothly ;)

I was just standing at my window today watching as the skies emptied itself. The smell of the rain, the cool wind at my skin, as the droplets sprayed itself to my exposed face... While I'm still nice and warm and safe in my house. I'm thankful for that.

Spent the day sleeping and basically mucking about after cancelling the day's footie. Cooked meals, watched tv, read the papers.. Meandered between one thought and the next while music wafted melodiously from my trusty Creative Speakers. Half a decade since this was the norm. But the familiarity is still crisp and fresh.

A nice day lounging at home doing nothing, unconcerned by appointments, work deadlines or family obligations.
