Today was THE worst run I've had in a long time. It was just 12km too. Looks like I've become too complacent. My thighs were tight after just 2km and by the time I hit King Albert Park they were screaming bloody murder.
This is in addition to the other privileged parts of my body which ached just as bad, if not worse (in their own little muscle minds). The otiose amounts of nasi lemak and fast food indulgences flashed like a bad dream across my mind over and over again.
Despite that I carried on and just willed myself to complete the loop which is no joke when u already feel like dying at the halfway mark.
Anyways during tonight's torture I promised myself from now till the week of sundown I'm gonna start looking after my food intake more and make sure I never feel as pathetic during a run.
Until the Ultramarathon itself of cos. Heh.
Well time to catch forty winks.
