Made a foray into the only part of Singapore which seems to have evaded the ravages of our never-ending need for space to build spew out more concrete. It's really quite lovely. Had a leisurely morning cycle around the island.

I jest. It was actually a hell of a workout. NOT a good sign (but obvious enough considering my ankle's put me outta commission for 4 weeks now *groan* bye bye StanChart Marathon *sobs*) with my thighs screaming bloody murder on upslopes, hence resulting in me getting off and pushing... However on the bright side downhill was kick ass! Esp for speed demon deep in me. Ok I jets again, not really very deep. hahaha. But man it was shiok zooming down!

Anyways there was a nice quarry we went to called 'Kekek Quarry'. Lovely place. Twas a world unto its own. You just forgot u were in singapore with the picturesque scene.
