It's been a wonderful birthday week (despite the FAR from wonderful amount of work). So some appreciation is in order for all those who've cheered me up and done wonderful things for me in spite of these busy days.

moi kakis - thank you for the wonderful night together on my actual bday. It was a sucky day up till dinner, albeit a late one. The familiar setting of swensens, the easy-going banter and I had lotsa fun in the car with ever dependable chum IP Academy exec and our sleepy mama teacher alongside the road rage driver from SMU.

It's never easy to meet up but when we do, it makes me so very happy especially when you consider how far we've come together. It's coming to one & a half decades now and what they say about old friends is certainly true. You're more than worth your weight in gold. Lovely Kenneth Cole watch btw *grins*
